About Me

I have been involved in music since the 2nd grade when I began to play violin. I later learned how to play piano and cello. I have played in school orchestras. I also have many years of experience playing piano in churches and leading the music group as well as 10 years of teaching.

My education as been at CSU Hayward and more recently at Los Medanos College in Pittsburg.

I normally use the Bastien piano method and begin to add various other music and styles adapted to the student's level and desires as they advance.But I am adaptable and wiling to use other methods if you prefer

Music Lessons by Emily Bernardi will have an annual recital, and I encourage all students to play.
